Penzión Pleso stands directly by the small lake Nové Štrbské pleso, at an altitude of 1,355 m, at the entrance to Štrbské Pleso. The village centre and the Tatra Electric Railway station are approximately 600 m away, and the Štrbské Pleso ski resort is 1.5 km away; a free ski bus runs there during the ski season.
The guest house offers 8 double rooms and 2 apartments, with a total capacity of 24 guests. Rooms have a private bathroom with a bathtub, toilet, hairdryer, TV, free Wi‑Fi and a small balcony (approx. 70 × 90 cm) with a side view of the High Tatras peaks. The apartments are designed for two guests and include a sofa bed for two additional people, making them suitable for families with children. Apartment No. 11 has no balcony and offers a direct view of the surrounding countryside and the Tatra peaks through large windows.
The day begins with a buffet breakfast including homemade spreads. Dinners are served at the partner property Hotel Panorama, approximately 650 m away. The dining room, with a fireplace and a bar counter, serves quality coffee, a selection of Slovak wines, bottled beer and soft drinks.
